The Federal Government of Nigeria has reiterated its commitment to ensuring education for all by increasing the educational budget above the global benchmark.
This was made known by President Buhari during the ongoing Global Education Summit.
Buhari stated, “I am pleased to announce Nigeria’s new commitment to progressively increase the Federal Government’s annual domestic education expenditure by 50% over the next two years, and up to 100% by 2025, beyond the 20% global benchmark. We will build a more secure and prosperous future for our children.”
